I was born and raised in the good old city of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I currently attend Louisiana State University, where I'm a Communication Disorders Junior. When I'm not studying to become an Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist, I can be found singing, blogging, cooking, theater-ing, and (occasionally) spending hours in my bed watching Netflix (Hey, we all need a break sometimes, right?)
A few extra tidbits:
- I'm a theater buff. Favorite shows include (but are not limited to): Into the Woods, Sunday in the Park with George, Next to Normal, Crimes of the Heart, Assassins, Violet and Arsenic and Old Lace.
- Every now and then, I'm lucky enough to get to spend some time on stage and the quickest way to my heart is through the meet and greet line.
- The Polar Express will always be my favorite Christmas movie.
- Pixar movies make me cry.
- I will never be happy with the way Lost ended.
- When I was little, I wanted to be a ballerina and dance on my toes. I still wish I could dance on my toes.
- I can't eat an Oreo without milk because I like to dip the whole intact Oreo in milk before eating it.
- I say "I love you" way too much and not enough.
- One day, I'm going to adopt a retired racing greyhound. His name will be Alan and he will be my best friend.
- I adore Jimmy Johns (Turkey Tom, please!), petit fours, and Swedish Fish.
