Blogging in the Sky

Hello my ever so faithful readers (all three of you)! And hello to you people who just happened upon this page and don't really know why Google sent you here.

I have been rather MIA lately. Blame two HUGE tests and a the laptop's visit to his buddies at the Apple Store. But don't worry, you didn't miss much.

I am currently blogging from 30,000 feet in the air because planes are boring and I felt like wasting $10 (there goes tomorrow's lunch). I would tell you why I am so high in the sky, but there are mean people who might do bad things with that information. Damn mean people ruin everything.

Really not much to say other than that.

Oh, and my ears hurt.

April Foolsin'

I hate April Fool's Day because I am so gullible.

Every year, someone convinces me that they're pregnant, engaged, moving, etc. And I always fall for it! I get really excited, I write congratulations all over Facebook and Twitter, and make phone calls, and then they say "April Fools" and I'm left looking like a really enthusiastic idiot.

And I never come up with any good jokes. Telling people I'm engaged would be quite a stretch at this stage in my life. No one would believe me if I said I was moving if I still have two years left of undergrad. And if I told people I was pregnant, my parents would probably kill me before I had the chance to say "April Fools." All of my possibilities are either too cruel, too dangerous, or just too far-fetched to work. And if I were to come up with something to do, I would probably have a giggle-fit and give it away before the joke has even started.

So everyone plays the joke on me. I've already fallen for two this morning: GMail Motion and a fake pregnancy. And I'm sure I'll fall for several more.

UPDATE: I also fell for the "I'm moving thousands of miles away across the Atlantic Ocean" one. *sigh*

On the plus side, remember those adorable twins I showed you a couple of days ago? Ellen Degeneres has figured out what they were talking about. As it turns out, they weren't discussing missing socks or Global Warming.

Oh, and by the why, I'm engaged, pregnant, and moving to Bolivia!

...April Fools!

(It was worth try.)
